ADB Accepts India's Fourteenth Contribution to the Technical Assistance Fund

The Asian Development Bank has accepted from India a further contribution to the Bank's Technical Assistance Special Fund (TASF), payable in United States dollars in an amount equivalent to 4.5 million Rupees (currently valued at about US$130,800). This is India's fourteenth contribution to the fund.

Technical assistance activities, for which the TASF is an important source of funds, help the Bank's developing member countries improve the capabilities to formulate, design, implement and operate development projects. ADB also provides technical assistance for various regional studies and activities.

Under the terms and conditions of this contribution, the funds will be available for procurement from the Bank's developing member countries.
