TA 3947: Sustainable Employment Promotion for Poor Women - Cambodia

Project Summary

The TA will strengthen the capacity of Ministry of Women’s and Veterans’ Affairs (MOWVA) to manage its mandate of gender mainstreaming for employment generation at the provincial and commune levels (in 8 selected provinces). It will also strengthen the gender mainstreaming capacity of 6 line ministries with the focus of gender-equal and pro-poor employment promotion.

The TA will have three major components:

  • Strengthening capacity in advocacy for employment promotion in MOWVA and in policy formulation and networking.
  • Development of approaches for strengthening women’s employment opportunities.
  • Strengthening capacity in policy formulation and networking (micro and small enterprise development, models and best practices, and networking).
