Project Summary

This TA aims to support the Government of Cambodia improve the equity and reduce barriers to access secondary education for poor girls. Through this TA, pilot residential and learning facilities for girls will be established as a sustainable and socially acceptable model for residential facilities in secondary schools for girls. These facilities will provide accommodation and learning opportunities outside the formal school curriculum. The TA has four components:

  • Improved access to secondary education for girls;
  • Enhanced quality of learning through life skills training and ICT;
  • Gender capacity building in education; and

TA management, evaluation, research and knowledge management.
