Project Summary

This TA aims to support the Government of Lao PDR in developing new approaches to improve demand for immunization in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Biologicals. The TA has five components:

  • participatory learning and action
  • community-designed education messages and tools
  • participatory community health education
  • immunization "branding" for improved profile and demand, and
  • leadership advocacy
