Project Summary

This TA involves research and capacity building to make the purchasing power parity more attuned to the realities of the poor households by adjusting the basket of commodities and channels through which price data collection is carried out. The proposed activities will be carried out as part of the International Comparison Program in the Asia Pacific which is essential for improving the methodologies for collecting and analyzing consistent and comparable data for the magnitude and incidence of poverty in the region.
