The report sets out the review undertaken by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) of the project on Enhancing Gender and Development (GAD) Capacity in Developing Member Countries (DMCs).

The review examined the extent the project is achieving its objectives to

  • build the GAD capacity of executing agencies in ADB's DMCs
  • achieve gender equality improvements in the implementation of ADB-financed activities
  • increase gender responsiveness of ADB's loan activities
  • increase ADB's overall GAD activities
