A year after the tsunami, over 50,000 Acehnese are still living in tents. The daily rains in Aceh add more misery to those without shelter. The government, donors, and nongovernment organizations are racing to build them houses. The target: 78,000 houses built in 2006. ADB is working to support this effort.
