Bangladesh highlights selectivity of ADB interventions
based on sector performance and demonstrated commitment
to reform and institutional strengthening; continued support
in key infrastructure and social sectors, where ADB has
had a long-term involvement and positive track record;
and promotion of private sector development and collaboration
with NGOs.

President Reaffirms Support and Commitment to Bangladesh
During his visit to Bangladesh last June, President Tadao Chino reaffirmed ADB's commitment and support to Bangladesh. Together with Bangladesh Finance and Planning Minister, M. Saifur Rahman, President Chino inaugurated the new office building of ADB's Bangladesh Resident Mission. |
