Advisories

ADB warns of grant scheme misusing ADB's name
Unidentified persons in Indonesia are misusing ADB's name to advise higher education institutions of a development grant from ADB and collect administration fees.


Property scam in the Philippines misusing ADB's name
A property agent in the Visayas is misusing ADB's name to convince owners to sell their properties. The modus operandi is similar to that described in an OAGI advisory issued in 2006.


Telephone credit card scam*
Telephone scammers pretend to be fraud investigator agents for Visa and Mastercard in order to obtain the 3-digit PIN on the back of the credit card.
