Justice for all in Pakistan: A Successful Judicial Reform Program Shows Lasting Benefits
Since 2001, Pakistan's Access to Justice Program, funded by a $600 million assistance package from ADB, has cut the number of pending criminal cases in the province of Peshawar by 58%, amended family laws to allow courts to become gender sensitive, promulgated access to information as a citizen's basic right, and reformed the police force by making them accountable to citizens. And this was just the beginning.

The Asian Development Bank's Central Operations Services Office (COSO) has posted draft policy papers and guidelines for consulting services and procurement on adb.org.
