Workshop on ADB's debt management products

A workshop was held for representatives of Philippine Government financial institutions on ADB's pool-based single currency loan conversion to LIBOR-based loans and ADB's debt management products for third party debt. ADB-funded Panabo City Bus & Jeepney Terminal

The P38 million Panabo City Bus and Jeepney Terminal, built under the Mindanao Basic Urban Services Sector Project, was turned over yesterday by the contractor, JITS Construction Corp. to the city government. Asst. Sec. Brian Yamsuan of the Department of Interior and Local Government (speaking at the podium) and Mayor Rey Gavina (seated, third from left) led government officials who attended the event.

Philippines to Maintain Modest Growth of 5.4% in 2007

Tom Crouch, ADB Philippine Country Director, and Jesus Felipe, Principal Economist, (center and right, respectively) present the Asian Development Outlook: Philippine Chapter in a press conference moderated by Ann Quon, OIC, ADB Department of External Relations. President Arroyo in 2007 Philippines Development Forum

President Arroyo poses with the Philippines' top leaders and economic managers, heads of international development partners, and representatives from other stakeholders at the 2007 Philippines Development Forum which discussed the Philippines' development agenda around the theme, "Achieving Broad-Based Growth through Sustained Reforms and Higher Investments".
