President Kuroda in Central Asia November 2005

After discussing regional cooperation with Central Asian leaders, ADB President Haruhiko Kuroda visited ADB projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, including a road project linking Osh in the south to Bishkek in the north where he met with contractors and the transport minister. The President also visited a new ADB-supported elementary and secondary school. He moved on to Tajikistan where he met with President Rakhmonov and members of the diplomatic corps, and visited TJRM.
