ADB's President Haruhiko Kuroda addresses 16 leaders attending the Second East Asia Summit. in Cebu on the last day of the 12th ASEAN Summit.
ADB President Haruhiko Kuroda (at extreme left) participated in the summit meeting of the 3rd Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Summit on 12 January. He also attended the 2nd Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Summit immediately thereafter.

East Asia should build now on its recent economic achievements to forge ties that can achieve a vision of lasting stability and prosperity for the region, ADB's President Haruhiko Kuroda told leaders attending the Second East Asia Summit in Cebu on 15 January.
ADB President Haruhiko Kuroda met on 13 January with Prime Minister Wen Jiabao of the People's Republic of China on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Cebu, Philippines. They exchanged views to further strengthen relations between ADB and the PRC and discussed the importance of regional economic cooperation and integration for sustainable development and poverty reduction.
