VII. Recommendation

  1. The Board of Directors is requested to approve the general thrust of the proposed “Graduation Policy for the Bank’s DMCs” and, the effectivity from 1 January 1999 of the proposals with regard to the graduation framework and the classification of DMCs (as presented in Section IV), and with regard to ceilings on Bank financing of project costs, norms for sharing of TA costs, and domestic preference scheme for procurement of goods and civil works (as presented in Section V).
