Guarantee Operations

ADB seeks through its guarantee operations to promote prudent, long-term debt financing, and the expansion of credit options to borrowers working on development initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region.

ADB may provide two types of guarantees:

1. partial credit guarantee
2. political risk guarantee
