Policies and Strategies

Publication Date: June 2005
In stock

ADB's public communications policy (PCP) provides a framework to enable ADB to communicate more effectively. It replaces two policies that were adopted in 1994: the Information Policy and Strategy and the Policy on Confidentiality and Disclosure of Information.

The PCP enables greater access to information and expands opportunities for those affected by ADB operations to influence decisions that shape their lives.

See the progress report on implementation of the PCP [ PDF 141kb | 35 pages ] for September 2006 to December 2007.

Minor Policy Change

The PCP exception regarding audit reports was changed to allow for the disclosure of project procurement-related audit reports. See the Board Paper [ PDF 79kb | 4 pages ] approving the change.
