Economic Analysis Retrospectives examine and recommend on the relevance, responsiveness, and quality of ADB lending operations. It aims to enhance the effectiveness of ADB operations by helping it learn from its own experience. This report is a follow up to Economic Analysis 2002: A Retrospective and provides an updated assessment focusing on the quality of analysis in respect to project rationale and alternatives.
