This report is the sixth in an annual series of economic analysis retrospectives prepared by the Economics and Research Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The retrospectives aim to promote the use of rigorous economic analysis by ADB staff in formulating country partnership strategies and designing projects to ensure quality-at-entry and achieve greater aid effectiveness. This report assesses the quality of economic analysis of ADB's public sector investment projects approved in 2006 and 2007. It is intended to be a reference for ADB staff and consultants involved in preparing feasibility studies and economic analysis for investment projects.
