The APPPA was a project aimed at collecting, documenting, disseminating, and advocating the perspectives of the poor in the formulation and implementation of the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS) which was launched in April 2008. Some of the findings of the APPPA have been included in the poverty profile of the ANDS.
