The main aim of the TA is to assist the Government of India to develop policy research networking capacity and consolidate the reforms process in the country. In particular, the TA supports high-level policy dialogue and civil-society policy discourse and building a constituency for reform, based on sound policy research in six identified priority areas, as follows:
