Mainstreaming Gender into Poverty Reduction Strategies in Four Central Asia Republics

Four country gender assessments (CGAs) were prepared as an output of the regional ADB technical assistance project, Mainstreaming Gender into Poverty Reduction Strategies in Four Central Asia Republics covering four countries—Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan. In addition to support the government's efforts to promote gender equality objectives by mainstreaming gender into national poverty reduction strategies, the CGAs aim to ensure that the ADB interventions are responsive to country gender conditions, commitments and development.
