Participatory Poverty And Governance Assessment

Last summer, VRM with the help of knowledge partners – Action Aid Viet Nam and Vietnam Solutions – carried out participatory poverty and governance assessments (PPGA) in Quang Ngai and Dak Lak provinces of the Central Region in Viet Nam. The field reports provide details on the findings.

The regional report consolidates the provincial level findings and supplements them with the summary indicators of poverty and inequality drawn from the latest GSO Household Survey 2002 data. The citizen feedback (summary and field report) reports on the perception of local people (beneficiaries) and local government, private sector and non-governmental service providers on the process as well as outcomes of the Public Administration Reform Master Program and related Government measures. The VRM initiative also leveraged PPGA in other 10 provinces by contributing to a common research framework. Field reports are available on-line at Publications session in our website.
