CAM: Greater Mekong Subregion-Cambodia Road Improvement Project
Resettlement Plan

The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Cambodia Road Improvement Project aims to promote economic activities and facilitate trade among Cambodia, Thailand, and Viet Nam and to improve the prospects for poverty reduction along the Southern Economic Corridor. The project will revive bridges, feeder roads, provincial roads and a national highway. It will link Siem Reap, Sisophon and Poipet in Cambodia to Viet Nam and Thailand. Right-of-way acquisition and road realignmentwill require approximatly 60 hectares of land along NR5 and NR6, affecting farmers, houses and house-shops, and small roadside stalls.
