INO: South Java Flood Control Project
Compensation Policy Framework and Procedural Guidelines

The South Java Flood Control Sector Project [PDF] aims to improve the quality of life of rural and urban populations in the project area by

  • reducing flood-induced disruption of human activities and disease
  • preventing regular flooding of houses and crops
  • minimising disruption of services and commercial activities

The project area contains twelve sub-projects consisting of flood control works that will strengthen and heighten the embankments as well as widen and deepen the drains.

The Ministry of Home Affairs prepared this updated Compensation Policy Framework and Procedural Guidelines (CPFPG) which sets out the guidelines for the preparation of resettlement plans for subprojects that might entail resettlement.
