Yohana Kho assumed the position of Senior Liaison Specialist, European Representative Office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in April 2009.

As Senior Liaison Specialist, Ms. Kho provides support in raising public awareness of ADB's role and activities and in building and maintaining relationships with governments, key development partners, and the media of the 17 European member countries of the ADB headquarters based in Manila.

Ms. Kho joined the ADB in 1995 as a Young Professional and after completing the 2-year program was assigned in several regional departments as Financial Analyst/Specialist mainly in the infrastructure sectors. In 2005, she transferred to the Budget Division of the Budget, Personnel and Management Systems Department where she assisted in the formulation of the ADB's annual internal administrative expenses budget and led the midterm and quarterly budget review processes. Her last posting prior to joining the ADB's European office was Senior Human Resource Specialist where she was responsible for local and international recruitment, internal staff movements and other staff-related matters. Ms. Kho came to the ADB from the private sector where she worked for about 5 years as Corporate Relationship Manager for American Express Bank in Jakarta, Indonesia.

An Indonesian national, Ms. Kho earned her Master's degree in Finance and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science both from University of San Francisco, California, United States.
