Expansion in Public Spending to Fuel the EconomyGDP (exclusive of petroleum and UN operations) is projected to expand by 6.5% in 2008, provided that there are no civil disturbances. Growth remains driven by large increases in public expenditure. Read the report [ PDF ] Reports

Timor-Leste has received $27.25 million in total technical assistance since 1999. Before joining ADB in 2002, ADB assistance to Timor-Leste was conveyed through the United Nations
Transitional Authority in East Timor.
