ADB's Response
Knowledge
ADB's technical assistance in response to the crisis in 2009 will aim to promote macroeconomic stabilization, restore market confidence, provide policy analysis and knowledge support, as well as strengthen national monitoring and surveillance systems.
Understanding the importance of sharing timely information, knowledge and experience, about 44 conferences, seminars, workshops and events related to the economic crisis have been organized by different departments/offices in ADB and the ADB Institute, and about 20 more events/activities are in various stages of planning and preparation for the rest of 2009.
