Title: Associate Results Management Analyst
Department/Division: Strategy and Policy Department (SPD)/Results Management Unit (SPRU)

1. JOB PURPOSE:

The position will provide analytical and coordination assistance to SPRU in implementing ADB's managing for development results (MfDR) agenda. This will entail the following: (i) analytical work and coordination with other units of ADB in gathering and interpreting information for the development effectiveness review (DEfR); (ii) updating and maintenance of databases on ADB projects; (iii) analytical and logistical support in monitoring status of DEfR actions; (iv) updating and maintenance of the results dashboard and other dashboards; (iv) administration of regional technical assistance; and (v) other duties as may be assigned by Head, SPRU and/or other designated SPRU staff.

2. EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

Research and Analysis
Provides analytical support in implementing ADB's corporate results management system.

Collects information and conducts analysis for the annual development effectiveness review reports and related reports.

ADB Results Monitoring
Assists in the maintenance and improvement of ADB's corporate results management system including its results framework, development effectiveness reviews, results dashboard.

Provides analytical and logistical support in quarterly heads of departments meeting on the status of DEfR actions and their follow up.

Ensures availability, accuracy and efficient retrieval of information needed for analysis, evaluation, and monitoring of ADB development effectiveness.

Technical Assistance (TA) Processing and Administration
Assists in processing and administration of regional technical assistance projects (including and selection and engagement of consultants) for which SPRU is responsible.

Others
Prepares briefing papers, reports, and background materials for the Department and Management as required.

Performs other duties that may be assigned by Head, SPRU and/or other designated SPRU staff.


3. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in economics, business or public administration, statistics, or other related fields

4. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level.

At least 5 years work experience, preferably in an operational department.

Basic knowledge of results-based management approaches.

Knowledge of multilateral organizations' strategic directions including long-term and medium-term strategies, and related policies.

Understanding of multilateral organizations' organizational structure.

Knowledge of procedures for consultants' recruitment and regional technical assistance processing and administration.

Familiarity with multilateral organizations' management information systems.

Fluency in spoken and written English.

Sound knowledge and practical skills in computer applications used in multilateral organizations, and advanced knowledge of database management software, excel, etc.
