International Organisations Day – London School of Economics

Saturday, 7 November 2009, 9:30 am–6:00 pm

An ADB recruitment team will be participating in the International Organisations Day to interview candidates who are based in London, United Kingdom for current and anticipated vacancies for professional staff positions.

With the adoption of the Strategy 2020, ADB will employ its financial and institutional resources in five core areas: infrastructure, environment, regional cooperation and integration, finance sector development, and education. ADB will also operate on a limited scale in other areas where its presence is needed – health, agriculture, and disaster and emergency assistance. Vacancies in the above areas are likely to become available in the medium- to long-term future to support the Strategy 2020.

To apply for any of the listed vacancies, please complete the Personal History Form and submit quoting LSE, Ref. No., and the position title. For your application to be considered for this career fair, please submit your form on or before 25 October 2009.

ADB also recruits highly qualified and motivated professionals who are 32 years old or younger for the Young Professionals (YP) Program. The YP Program lays the foundation for a challenging and rewarding professional career in an international development environment.

ADB's Internship Program is another opportunity for eligible students of member countries to have exposure to ADB's business. The selected interns will be assigned to specific tasks that contribute to ADB projects. A review of the Program is being undertaken including the schedule for the next intake. Updates will be posted on the ADB website.
