Local Currency Loan Product

ADB offers the Local Currency Loan (LCL) [ PDF ] product in selected DMCs to its public and private sector borrowers. The LCL product is of interest to borrowers that are unable to hedge currency risks associated with borrowing in foreign currencies, and who earn their revenues mostly in local currency. ADB can currently offer the LCL product only in selected DMCs where it has secured all relevant approvals to access the local market.
