(state) banks to contribute to macroeconomic stability, improve
their financial intermediation function, operational efficiency
and financial performance
- strengthening
the policy environment for banking by enhancing competition and
facilitating market-based credit allocation decisions
- strengthening
regulation and supervision in line with Basle
Core Principles to prevent future systemic crisis
- improving secured transactions and debt recovery regimes to deal with unresolved NPL problems and facilitate new lending
