Bank for International Settlements (BIS)
The BIS is an international organization which fosters cooperation among central banks and other agencies in pursuit of monetary and financial stability. The site contains information on activities and publications of the:

Financial Sector Reform and Strengthening (FIRST) Initiative
FIRST Initiative, a multi-donor program, is aimed at building strong and growth oriented financial systems in developing countries. They provide technical assistance grants to public sector recipients in developing and transition countries for capacity building and policy development in the areas of financial sector regulation, supervision, and development.

Financial Stability Forum (FSF)
FSF was established in 1999 to promote international financial stability through information exchange and international co-operation in financial supervision and surveillance. It has issued the Compendium of Standards, a compilation of various internationally accepted standards for sound and stable financial systems.

International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)
IASB is an independent, privately-funded standards setter, which seeks to develop a single set of understandable and enforceable global accounting standards. The Board cooperates with accounting standards setters around the world to achieve convergence. Site contains assessments of national accounting standards.

International Actuarial Association (IAA)
Founded in 1895, IAA is a worldwide association of professional actuarial associations and individual actuaries. Its website contains information on actuarial standards and current regulatory, accounting, and actuarial issues in the pension and insurance areas.

International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI)
IADI seeks to contribute to the enhancement of deposit insurance effectiveness by providing guidance and promoting international cooperation. Its website contains information on IADI's activities, a worldwide survey of deposit insurance institution, and links to IADI member and partner organizations.

International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS)
Established in 1994, this organization comprises of national insurance regulators and supervisors from more than 100 jurisdictions. IAIS issues global insurance principles and standards and facilitates training for and information exchange among insurance supervisors.

International Federation of Stock Exchanges (FIBV)
Links to stock exchanges worldwide, as well as research and statistics on equity, debt and derivative markets

International Finance & Commodities Institute (IFCI)
IFCI is a non-profit organization located in Geneva, whose members include the world's major derivatives exchanges and financial firms. Site includes contributions/documents by BIS, IOSCO, G-30, and the Derivatives Policy Group on financial risk management and control.

International Institute of Finance (IIF)
IIF was created by the Global Association of Financial Institutions. Its website contains data, information, and research on emerging markets, international financial regulations, and international policy issues.

International Network of Pension Regulators and Supervisors (INPRS)
Established in 2000, INPRS seeks to provide a forum for policy dialogue and co-operation on regulatory, supervisory, and financial issues related to pensions. This site contains information on the activities of INPRS and its regional committees, research on private pensions policy issues, a country database, as well as guidelines and publications on pension reforms, private pensions development and regulation.

Toronto Centre-The Toronto International Leadership Centre for FSinancial ector Supervision
This organization seeks to build leadership skills of executives of supervisory agencies by facilitating an exchange of experience among senior supervisors and government officials in the banking, insurance, and securities fields.
