Part VIII: Institutional Framework

Article 28: National Transport Facilitation Committees

The Contracting Parties will each establish a permanent National Transport Facilitation Committee chaired by a Minister or Vice Minister or its equivalent. It will bring together representatives of all parties concerned with the implementation of the Agreement.

Article 29: Joint Committee

  1. Representatives of the respective National Transport Facilitation Committees will form together the Joint Committee.
  2. The Joint Committee will monitor and assess the functioning of the Agreement. It will serve as a platform for discussion, a forum for amicable settlement of disputes, and it may address advice to the Contracting Parties and formulate proposals for amendment of the Agreement.
