Financial Management Thematic Committee

Financial Management Thematic Committee (FMTC)

FMTC is one the 19 thematic and sector committees established in line with ADB's New Business Process.

FMTC takes the lead in all the financial management activities of ADB. It consolidates, monitors, and reports on the Knowledge Products and Services of the financial management thematic area. It is the group that works and coordinates with other donors towards harmonization of financial management processes and practices.

Financial Management Network (FMNet)

To facilitate better interaction among staff interested in financial management, FMTC took the initiative of establishing the FMNet.

With a membership of about 90 to date, FMNet aims to disseminate knowledge products and encourage professional development. The network gives the members the opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, views and information, and participate in discussions and collaboration of financial management issues. For this purpose, a number of presentation/brown bag seminars have been organized for the network members.
