ADB's policy on governance is supported by policies and strategies on

confidentiality and disclosure of information

private sector development

along with increased attention to procurement, law and policy reform, and participation of civil society.

Good governance has also been established as one of the three pillars of ADB's Poverty Reduction Strategy, and Core Strategic Areas of Intervention under The Long-term Strategic Framework of The Asian Development Bank (2001-2015).

The Medium-Term Agenda and Action Plan, prepared at the request of ADF donors, takes stock of ADB's governance activities since 1995 and the impact they achieved. It
