Asian Development Outlook 2009

Exports, Consumption, and Investment May Shrink in 2009

In 2009, exports are forecast to fall and both private consumption and investment will likely shrink. GDP is expected to contract, before growth resumes in 2010. Inflation has decelerated and is expected to remain low over the forecast period.
