About academic institution registration

Registration Requirement and Process

  • Graduate schools or departments of academic institutions have to meet registration criteria and comply with ADB internship's process and procedures.
  • They can register at any time of the year by filling out the registration form below.
  • Once registered with ADB, they are expected to actively participate in subsequent years.
  • The internship coordinators, as focal point can be a career center, or an office of dean for a specific department, that handles an internship program.

Registration criteria

Academic institutions must

  1. offer graduate or post-graduate level programs

  2. conduct classes and researches in English
    Yes No

  3. offer degrees in the fields relevant to ADB’s business, i.e. economics, development studies, finances, business administration, public policy, engineering, environment, natural resources, and commerce.

  4. List other courses offered






  5. (if registered in the past) have actively participated by nominating applicants every year
    Yes No

  6. If actively participating, list years when you have nominated


    As a focal point, we expect internship coordinators to be responsible for:
    • ensuring selection criteria and process outlined by ADB
    • nominating or identifying applicants
    • supporting application process
    • supervising interns/fellows if required
