Selection Process

The deadline was 26 February 2009 for the 2009 internship applications. We no longer accept applications.

Eligible candidates can submit the application form with Curriculum Vitae (CV) to school coordinators of the registered academic institutions. Interested academic institutions can register at any time of a year online.

  1. ADB announces the assignments on website and sends to registered academic institutions' internship coordinators.
  2. Internship coordinators distribute the assignments to interested and qualified students.
  3. Candidates indicate an assignment in the application form that they want to apply. Candidates submit application forms attached with CV to their internship coordinators.
  4. Internship coordinators screen and nominate their top three candidates to ADB for final selection. Applications may be submitted by email to adbintern@adb.org or fax to (632) 632 4585.
  5. ADB evaluates applications based on: academic qualification, relevant experience, and required skills for the specific assignment. ADB also considers institutional representation, gender, and nationality balance in the process.
  6. Only candidates selected will be contacted.
