Implementation Arrangements

Executing agencies will be the central or local governments, and/or other public institutions. ADB will, on behalf of the Government of Japan, enter into a JFPR Assistance Letter of Agreement with such executing agencies who will take overall responsibility for the project.

Implementation agencies would be mostly NGOs. Input from civil society is essential for the effective implementation of this scheme. ADB makes the necessary efforts to obtain input and feedback from civil society for design, implementation, and evaluation of each activity.

Disbursements of funds and procurement of goods and services will be carried out according to ADB's standard policies and procedures for disbursements and for procurement of goods and services.
