Portfolio Management
KYRM is responsible for the day-to-day administration of certain delegated projects. At present, three technical assistance projects are delegated to KYRM.
KYRM helps ADB's Headquarters monitor the implementation of ADB-assisted projects within the Kyrgyz Republic and ensures that
- they are being implemented on schedule
- project development objectives are being met
Country Programming
KYRM is responsible for all matters pertaining to country programming, including
- conducting the country programming mission (CPM) to develop a program of projects and technical assistance
- preparing the country program and strategy (CPS) and its annual update
- conducting the country portfolio review mission (CPRM)
- coordinating with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, donors, civil society, and ADB's Headquarters in Manila
Project Processing
KYRM:
- participates and assists ADB's Headquarters in the processing of all projects in the Kyrgyz Republic
- provides significant inputs to policy dialogue with the Government
- interacts with the executing agencies to resolve project related issues
Aid Coordination
KYRM:
- maintains and facilitates extensive coordination and consultation with donors on operational and policy matters
NGO Cooperation
KYRM:- helps establish closer links between ADB and NGOs operating in the Kyrgyz Republic
- facilitates Government-NGO cooperation in project implementation and related matters

Information Dissemination
KYRM:
- provides and disseminates information on ADB activities
- helps strengthen media coverage of ADB's operations in the Kyrgyz Republic
- publishes the KYRM newsletter
- supports the Kyrgyz Development Information Center
