Results Based Management: Supporting a Sector Approach
This booklet summarizes the experiences and lessons learned in implementing Regional Technical Assistance (RETA) 6096: Supporting the Sector Approach and Results Based Management (RBM) in Asian Development Bank Operations. The RETA aimed at providing direct support to the preparation of results-based sector road maps. This RETA has provided opportunities for pilot-testing RBM approaches in different country and sector contexts. The countries supported included the People's Republic of China, the Philippines, and Cambodia. The support took various forms including awareness raising, implementation planning, providing support to RBM-readiness assessments and knowledge management. The project was funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) of the Government of the United Kingdom and was completed in March 2007.
