Entries Open Online for 2006 Developing Asia Journalism Awards
MANILA, PHILIPPINES - Entries are now being accepted online for the Developing Asia Journalism Awards (DAJA), organized by the Asian Development Bank Institute in association with ADB's External Relations Department.
The awards acknowledge Asian and Pacific print journalists who cover development trends and the impact these have on the countries and people of the region.
They will be judged based on journalists' published works (including those in translation) during 2005. Winners will be selected by a distinguished jury of practicing journalists and will be invited to an awards ceremony in Manila in early April 2006.
All journalists who wish to submit DAJA entries online need to register with ADBI first by completing the online form.
To protect your privacy you will receive an e-mail message confirming your registration. After confirmation is complete you will be able to log in to your account to submit entries and complete the optional details.
Those interested in participating should review the How to Enter information. You can also subscribe to e-newsline, ADBI's free, daily e-newsletter about regional development issues. It has samples of the type of stories required.
