TOKYO, JAPAN (14 February 2005) - This is the last week to submit entries for the Developing Asia Journalism Awards (DAJA) 2006, organized by the Tokyo-based ADB Institute in association with ADB. Entries close on Friday, 17 February at 6:00 p.m. (Tokyo time), for the awards, now in their third year. All journalists who wish to submit DAJA entries online need to register first. Winners will be selected by a distinguished jury of practicing journalists and invited to an expenses paid awards ceremony in Manila in mid April 2006. Prizes are given in four categories: - Poverty issues
- People and development
- Women and development
- Development agencies and development
There are four additional Special Prizes to be selected from the main entries or separate applications. See the awards web site for details. About ADB |
