Mr. Kondo oversees ADB's operations in India, ensuring they align closely with the priorities and objectives of the government and ADB's own long term development framework, Strategy 2020. He has played an active role in promoting regional cooperation, public-private partnerships, and in strengthening relationships with stakeholders and other development partners in India. Mr. Kondo has actively promoted the mainstreaming of social dimensions, such as full stakeholder engagement including women and vulnerable groups, in the development of transport projects.
