Ms. Siackhachanh focuses on the financial sector in Asia. She is responsible for the Asian Bond Market Initiative of ASEAN+3 countries, endorsed at the ASEAN+3 Finance Ministers Meeting in 2003 to develop efficient and liquid bond markets in Asia to enable better utilization of Asian savings for Asian investments. She is a member of OREI, which helps developing member countries of ADB harness the full benefits of global financial integration and international capital flows while minimizing any disruptive effects.
