Description

As Country Director of ADB's Viet Nam Resident Mission, Mr. Konishi is responsible for the overall management of ADB's program in Viet Nam and liaison with the government, private sector, civil society and other development partners. Mr. Konishi has served as Country Director for Viet Nam since April 2006. He has extensive experience of Southeast Asia's economic and social development, including ADB's support to Thailand and Indonesia during the Asian Economic Crisis, and in previous positions has been heavily involved in educational and financial sector issues, as well as in broader macroeconomic planning and regional cooperation.
