Description

Mr. Verbiest specializes in short-, medium-, and long term macroeconomic issues in Asia. As head of the Thailand Resident Mission (TRM), he oversees the development and maintenance of a program of cooperation and partnership between ADB and Thailand. TRM also supports subregional programs and initiatives in the GMS, namely investment and trade facilitation, and GMS environment issues, and coordinates ADB activities with other resident diplomatic and development partners' missions, the private sector, NGOs, and civil society, academic institutions, and local think tanks.
