Development Banks Common Performance Assessment System
The 2006 Multilateral Development Bank (MDB) Common Performance Assessment
System (COMPAS) report, published jointly by the African Development Bank,
Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,
Inter-American Development Bank and World Bank, provides information on
how these MDBs conduct business and organize themselves to ensure that
their operations are geared towards results. In this edition, efforts
have been made to improve the definition of performance indicators and
increase the credibility and reliability of the information presented
in it.

Special Edition on the Third International Roundtable on MfDR
The Third International Roundtable on MfDR was held in Hanoi, Viet Nam,
on 5–8 February 2007. More than 500 participants, representing developing
countries, donors, civil society, and the private sector, participated
in the Roundtable. Seventeen of the 40 participating developing countries
were ADB members. The Roundtable hosted a Results Marketplace of ideas
and emerging “good practices” on how countries and development
partners are working to improve results-based management around the world.
Posters displayed by ADB's developing member countries are presented in
this special issue of Results Matter.

Country Partnership Strategy Guidelines
These guidelines deal with ADB's results-based management approach and
detailed processes, which are involved in the preparation, implementation,
monitoring and evaluation of the country partnership strategy (CPS).

of Practice on MfDR in Asia Pacific (CoP-MfDR)
Online Discussion for 2007: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
The CoP-MfDR's discussion series for 2007 focuses on "Establishing
a Results-Based M&E System on the Ground." Assisting the CoP
with its ongoing dialogue is Ray C. Rist, a well-known M&E expert.
The discussion is divided into 4 modules, each to be discussed for 2-3

From March 15 to May 15, 2007, the discussion is focused on "Readiness
Assessment for Results-based M&E."
