Development Effectiveness Country Briefs
Acknowledging the need to better capture and report its results on the ground as part of a new development effectiveness reporting, ADB has initiated the preparation of development effectiveness country briefs for each of its developing member countries. The purpose of the country brief is to provide an overview of ADB's operational effectiveness in the country in terms of key contributions to development outcomes and aid effectiveness.

South Asia Regional Forum on Mainstreaming MfDR
(13-14 November in Bangkok, Thailand)

Participants discussed methods, approaches and experiences in assessing organization readiness for the implementation of MfDR, as well as areas of potential action in Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan for addressing identified gaps. They also generated new approaches to the implementation of MfDR, particularly at the level of the organization, and assessed which of these approaches and other implementation gaps can generate potential support from the donor community and other stakeholders. Background papers and workshop documents are available online.

Technical Assistance Project: Lao People’s Democratic Republic: Improved Public Financial Management Systems
