Aid Effectiveness Forum

ADB actively participated at the Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness* held in September 2008 at Accra, Ghana. To deepen understanding of aid effectiveness issues, build ownership of the Accra agenda, and develop broad consensus around key issues, the international community conducted a number of consultation meetings before the HLF. ADB, together with the Government of Japan, the World Bank and UNDP were the lead organizers of the consultation workshops in the Asia-Pacific Region.

Global Reports

ADB together with the African Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, World Bank and International Monetary Fund provides inputs to the preparation of the Global Monitoring Report, which analyzes the support these institutions provide developing countries for achieving the MDGs.

ADB also actively takes part in the the preparation of the Multilateral Development Bank's Common Performance Assessment System (COMPAS), which provides a common ground where the MDBs may jointly report on their own performance.
